It took artist Jane Kim three years to create The Wall Of Birds, a 2500 square-foot mural at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology in Ithaca, New York. The birds are painted life-size on a map of the world and illustrates bird diversity and 375 million years of their evolution.
Now a new book from Harper Design, chronicles the colossal work's creation.
