Artist Domenic Esposito dropped off a giant opioid spoon at the entrance of Rhodes Pharma, a drug manufacturer linked to the Sackler family, founders of multi-billion dollar company Purdue Pharma who fueled the OxyContin crisis. The family knew that putting patients on high dosages of OxyContin for long periods increased the risks of addiction yet they promoted higher dosages to increase their profits.
