Le livre sans titre (“The Book With No Title”) was published in in 1830 as warning to young French men about the consequences of masturbation, a malady which lead to early death. It tells the story of a young man who was his mother's pride and joy until he discovered masturbation. He died bald and covered in pustules at just 17 years of age.
