Are You Really My Friend?

Tanja Hollander traveled across the globe, setting up in-person meetings with 262 friends she had previously met only on Facebook.  She aimed to discover the ways in which friendship is defined, and how permission is granted into one’s private — yet also very public — online life. The result of these efforts is the book, Are You Really My Friend?, published by Mass MOCA.
