Icons of Style: A Century of Fashion Photography, 1911-2011, at the Getty Museum in Los Angeles, explores the cultural impact of fashion photography. From the austere practicality of the Great Depression and World War II to the the youth culture explosion of the 1960s and beyond this exhibition shows how fashion photography has left a lasting impression.
