Kitten Cafe Sanctuary wanted to promote stray cat adoption and Yoro Railway Co Ltd. wanted to increase tourism between Ōgaki and Ikeno. This is how their collaboration, Cat Café Trains, came to be. Passengers join 30 rescue cats on a two-and-a-half-hour trip through the Japanese countryside. Everyone enjoys the cat cuddling so much that they ignore the free food on offer and the views of the countryside.
