Cat City

Cat Museum
Kuching, a city in Malaysia, is said to be named after the Malay word for cat although some say it is derived from the Chinese word for harbour.  There’s a Cat Museum there that houses over 4000 cat-related artifacts. There is also a cat cafe - in fact there are cats everywhere.

The museum is actually pretty creepy:
