The Maiwai Spirit


The story behind making Maiwai, the Japanese Fisherman’s Kimono. Kosuke Suzuki is a Japanese maiwai master teaching his son, Riki, the craftsmanship skills necessary to continue the two hundred year old tradition of ceremonial garment making.
