Snow Day

Most winters Vancouver Island doesn't get much snow but 2017 has been an exception. When a Central Saanich farmer saw the snow hadn't been cleared he decided to take matters into his own hands with a second-hand Zamboni he'd bought to spread manure on his field. Unfortunately, the Zamboni cleared the top layer of snow but flattened the bottom layer, which, if the temperatures dip low enough, could turn into, well, an ice rink.
