Louise The Therapy Rooster
Louise is an odd name for a rooster - shouldn't it be Louie? Luckily he was mistaken for a hen when he was born and his life was spared but his deformed legs made it difficult for him to get around. His second stroke of luck was finding a home at Sali's Farm, a non-profit organization that connects children who have been victims of abuse, violence or neglect with therapy animals. Now he has a wheelchair that allows him to glide around the farm with the grace of a swan. Louise acts as a therapy animal to kids who feel a special connection to him because of all the hardships he has been through.
