Kent Monkman: Shame and Prejudice: A Story of Resilience

Kent Monkman is a Canadian artist of Cree ancestry who works with a variety of mediums, including painting, film/video, performance, and installation. His work approaches the sad and violent chronicle of colonization with an interesting twist on cultural appropriation.

His exhibition called Shame and Prejudice: A Story of Resilience opens later this month at the University of Toronto Art Museum.
