The Hagströmer Medico-Historical Library was established in 1997 in order to take care of the old and rare books kept by the Swedish Society of Medicine since the early 19th century and the Karolinska Institutet, founded in 1810. Its online Wunderkammer contains a treasure trove of high-resolution scans of old artwork and book illustrations.
