Rendered Problematic: Sean Mahan

Florida-based artist Sean Mahan creates paintings of children alongside dated appliances. His works celebrate the outdated and obsolete by representing older technologies, objects, and cultural ideals in an attempt to interrupt the alienating, and dominant, momentums of discard and overuse.
