When completed the Trans Canada Trail will include nearly 24,000 kilometres of multi-use trails, linking Canada and Canadians. To date, just over 20,770 kilometres of the Trail are operational, which is 87 percent of the proposed route. Four out of five Canadians live within 30 minutes of the Trail.
I just discovered that the trail is just a five minute walk from my house!
