Concept art for David Cronenberg’s ‘Total Recall’ that never was

Canadian director David Cronenberg was the first director to be considered to direct Total Recall. He worked on pre-production for the PKD project for about a year, a process that generated the amazing concept art below.

The film was eventually directed by Dutch director Paul Verhoeven, of Robocop fame.
