40 Years On: Punks Then and Now

The Guardian series on punks then and now is kind of interesting. I like this one:

Charlie Angus and Andrew Cash formed the Canadian punk band L'Etranger in the early 1980s. Both went on to other musical careers and both have been elected to the Canadians parliament. Andrew Cash served from 2011-15 for Toronto. Angus is the longstanding member for Timmins-James Bay. They are the only members of the Westminster system of government to have opened for the Dead Kennedys. They both still have very grassroots DIY approach to politics... only the suits fit better now.
