Each of the 800 Forget-Me-Nots at St Columba hospice's courtyard garden in Edinburgh is hand-made by Johnson Tiles' artists at its Stoke-on-Trent factory. They are part of the Tribute Funds initiative. When a fund is set up a flower is allocated to the bereaved family, and on the first donation, a delicate copper leaf – which can be inscribed with a message – is added to the flower stem.
