Back in the day all the cool kids hung out at Sam's flagship store on Yonge St., flipping through three floors of records looking for something esoteric to impress their friends. The Sam the Record Man sign was once an iconic landmark in Toronto, and now it’s coming back.This week, Ryerson University told interested companies to bid on installing the sign. It will go on top of the Toronto Public Health building at Dundas and Victoria streets and would face Yonge-Dundas Square.
