This year I will embrace the trashy, weird and ugly aspects of my work

It’s Nice That has teamed up with Squarespace to commission four illustrators to create new works that depict their creative new year’s resolution for 2016 on a Cover Page.

This is London based illustrator Laura Callaghan's Cover Page. She has resolved to move away from 'frothy and fun' pieces and to create works that are "more raw, twisted and ugly".

She decided on an 'after the bacchanal' theme and used paintings like the one below as inspiration.
