I'm not sure whether this is practical or not. The photos show just a few items per shelf. The website is under construction so I can't tell how much it actually holds or how much it weighs. The suitcase is quite bulky and I think a carry on would be more practical for a short trip.
It's an interesting idea but, with a MSRP of $349, I'd need more information before purchasing.More: ShelfPack
The suitcase probably adds 10 lbs to your luggage weight.
