Grow Your Own Chairs

Gavin Munro, a Derbyshire designer, has come up with a new and dramatically more efficient way of making furniture. He prunes and shapes trees into the shape of chairs.

The project has been going for the past nine years and this year the first lot of trees will be harvested to be sold as the finished products.
