Air pollution is a serious problem in China and many children grow up with respiratory diseases such as asthma. Xiao Zhu, a Chinese company specializing in air purification units, has found a way to draw more attention to the dangers of contaminated air with a project that uses China’s chief cause of pollutants as its medium. Pictures of Chinese children suffering pain and suffocation are projected directly onto billowing clouds of factory smoke.
There is no mistaking the message: ‘Clean the air. Let the future breathe again’.
