The ruins of a town submerged underwater for more than 45 years have re-emerged as water levels dramatically drop with Brazil's worst drought in 80 years.
They were once part of Igarata a town that was flooded when the government dammed the Jaguari River near Sao Paulo in 1969. Water levels are 30 metres below normal, revealing structures including the old town's church, its main street, a square and a cross.
