Blackwater Photography

Hawaiian based photographer Joshua Lambus has won many awards and his works are displayed in museums around the world. He is best known for his "Blackwater" macro work featuring rarely seen animals from the deep. He illuminates and photographs light sensitive animals that live in very deep water during the day but come to the surface at night to feed and absorb oxygen. Joshua has logged more than 500 of these blackwater dives.
