Darwin's "Origin of Species" Manuscript Used As Doodle Paper By His Children

Today is the 206th anniversary of Charles Darwin's birth aka Darwin Day. The Darwin Manuscripts Project has digitalized more than twenty-six thousand pages of Darwin's writings on evolution.

When Charles Darwin's "On the Origin of Species" manuscript was published he tossed away most of the original 600 page manuscript. But fortunately he kept 45 pages that his 10 children used to draw on.
