Two Photographers in Same Monastery Create Totally Different Photobooks
In 2014 two Belgian photographers, Iphygenia Dubois and Lore Horré, decided to spend two months in isolation in an abandoned monastery. The oblates who lived there had left many of their personal belongings behind. Iphygenia and Lore each made a photobook of their experience in the monastery. Magnolia is the collaborative project that emerged from their experience. The results prove that two photographers in the same space will come up with very different sets of images.
Lore's book, The Hills Were Green And So Were We
Iphigenia's book, Motionless
Motionless and The Hills Were Green and So Were We are sold together assembled in a slipcase. Visit Iphygenia Dubois' or Lore Horré's websites for more info and pre-orders.
