As part of his latest project, entitled Made in China, American artist Doug Fishbone commissioned a China-based company specializing in oil painting to create a replica of a famous painting. He will replace one of the Old Master paintings in the Dulwich Picture Gallery, London with the forgery, and challenge visitors to identify the copy.
The project runs from 10 February - 26 April, 2015. Once the replica is identified in April it will hang beside the original for two months.
I'll be in London during that timeframe and might test my eye for fine art.
