Day-Glo Coloured Spanish Racing Pigeons
Spanish photographer Ricardo Cases' photobook Paloma al Aire explores the racing pigeon culture of Valencia and Murcia in Spain. Pigeon breeders or colombaires paint their birds in bright colours and release them to chase after a lone female. The champion pigeon is the one that is most courteous and constant and spends the most time with her.
