North Korea's Cat and Dog Stamps

North Korea is known as a ruthless dictatorship and most people are unaware that in the 1970s the North Korean state stamp bureau started issuing stamps featuring cuddly cats and dogs. It appears even brutal despots can have a soft spot for our four legged friends.

Most recently they issued a stamp to mark the World Cup despite the country failing to qualify.
