These 16 flowers are all dead ringers for something else - birds, animals, insects or people. I've seen some of them before but this collection is so gorgeous I had to post it.

I think every time they found an outrageous flower, it automatically got dumped into the Orchid family. Is Orchid just a scientific translation for, “Dude, look at this crazy flower”?
