Sweet art! This is right up my alley. New Zealand chef Peter Gordon has created a novel recipe inspired by John Martin’s apocalyptic painting The Great Day of His Wrath which is on display at Tate Britain. The painting is a response to the emerging industrial scene of London as a metropolis in the early nineteenth century, and the original growth of the Babylon civilisation and its final destruction. I think Gordon's dessert has the potential to create a natural cataclysm.
