Thomas Edison developed an interview test for job seekers wanting to work for him. It consisted of 150 questions, tailored to the position for which they were applying. Could you pass the test? Do you know how shellac is made or the first lines of the Aeneid? Of the well over 500 young men who took Edison’s test, only about 35 passed to his satisfaction (a score of 90% or higher).
