Sheets Of Aleppo

Milan-based photographer Franco Pagetti's images of sheets veiling the devastated streets of Aleppo, Syria are very moving. Before the war they were used for privacy or to protect residents' homes from harsh weather. Now the sheets serve to hide Free Syrian Army soldiers from the view of Bashar al-Assad’s security force snipers.
