Copehill Down

When I saw the photo above of Copehill Down in Wiltshire I thought it was a lovely English village. I read on thinking I might want to add it to my list of picturesque places I'd like to visit. After reading more I've decided not to add it to a travel itinerary.

The bucolic looking village is actually a mock-up or, more accurately, a FIBUA – an acronym standing for Fighting in Built Up Areas - that British troops use for combat training.
