Forgotten Palaces and captured images of decaying splendour.

A few years ago I visited many of these architectural monuments scattered about the Veneto. Some are restored and the interiors are quite grand but many of them are now in ruins. I wasn't able to gain access to any of the ruined villas but caught a few glimpses through dirty and boarded up windows. They have a haunted feel and I wouldn't choose to spend a night alone in any of them.
