Clip-on Pouring Spout

If I had one of these I could stop using makeshift implements that allow the peas to pass through and go down the sink drain. Ingenious!

  1. I shall buy ten of those.

All too often, I'm rescuing spaghetti or peas from the sink....

Well, I could always replace the colander I suppose. Whatever happened to it? House-move, it's in a box somewhere or other. I think.
Maybe. Try straining spinach with a knife held across the pan... It works so far, then GLOOP! spinach is suddenly off the menu.
I could try find the stacking steamers, too. Hackmann 18/80 stainless steel, expensive they were, but my household goods are in limbo.
Oh f**k it, I'll just keep scooping my escaped peas back out of the sink.

  2. I have 5 colanders but I'm too lazy to pull them from the back of the cupboard.

  3. I’m skeptical of one size “is adaptable” to all, solutions.
The kitchen should have a colander, spatula, sharp knife, and hand towel within reach at all times, instead of knick knacks and tchotkes which are useless.
Oh, and a water pistol to get the cat off the counter.

  4. I think this gadget would work well for some things but you're right, who needs more crap? As for the water pistol, Joyce doesn't venture onto the counter, not even when her dinner is sitting there and she's hungry. Just between you and me, I think she's stupid.
