Bosco Verticale is an eco project in downtown Milan, designed by architect Stefano Boeri. The project is comprised of two towers with giant cantilevered staggered balconies that can accommodate large trees since there is a minimum of two storeys over every balcony. It’s a vertical forest in the heart of the city.
Thanks Bruce!
How wonderful to have trees & greenery when you live in a high-rise condo...the best of both worlds for those not wanting a house & all of the responsibilities.
ReplyDeleteOne drawback for me...a major one...worry about my cat jumping over into the 'yard'.
I can't imagine living without a garden. This sort of apartment living would be a compromise.
