As part of a National Gallery exhibition Jack Cole and Maisie Broadhead directed a video to be hung next to the 1844 photographic print by Hill and Adamson that it references. An amazing amount of work went into creating the finished product.
Produced by Cap Gun Collective, Edited by James Norris at Whitehouse London and Post and VFX by Carbon FX.

Considering the number of people and the amount of work involved, I wonder why? There’s no permanent piece of art that can be sold, or even displayed. I don’t see a way of making any money off this project, so I guess it’s for the fun of it, which is cool but a tough way to make a living.
ReplyDeleteI liked it but I also thought it was an awful lot of work.
