Something I learned the other day: if you put daffodils in water with any other flower, they will kill the other flower. Did you know that? Useful tidbit. Anyhoo, we are far from having daffodils here. There's still snow on the ground and I haven't seen a green shoot of any sort in my flowerbeds.

We also have tulips, azalea and periwinkle . The magnolia and flowering crabs are ready to bloom, something that usually happens at the end of May!
