Happy birthday! And thanks for the lilacs;) I'm northern hemisphere born and raised, but have lived in Australia since the mid-70s. I really miss lilacs and that gorgeous photo extracted their aroma from my memory bank. It's almost like having the real things here on my desk.
I've always loved lilacs and am currently plotting where to plant a couple of the new everblooming bushes in my garden.
