Their Last Supper

In 1999 when artist Julie Green saw the final meals of death row inmates printed in the newspaper she began painting the final meal requests of death row prisoners as a statement against the death penalty. She’s now done more than 400.

Cheeseburger, onion rings, a beef enchilada, tea, Coca-Cola, a whole onion, a whole tomato and lemon pie.
