Hmmm...ironing shirts. Decades ago, my Mom had died suddenly & I poured my grief into 'taking care of things'. One of my main obsesstions was ironing dozens of my Dad's shirts (he was a business executive...so they had to be 'perfect')...but it was all my doing. He finally relieved me of my 'need', letting me know that the dry cleaners would do the job just fine & I could 'move on'.

Ugh! Avoid buying anything that needs ironing. As a matter of fact, avoid anything dressy.

Ironing is one domestic chore I like doing. I can do it while watching tv and I love the smell of hot cotton.
