While I was entering this world who was departing?

It's my birthday - time for a little morbidity.

  3. Best regards to you. It would have been my father's 79th today. He was a really good person -- I am of the impression that you have that in common!

  6. That is a curious site. I was surprised to find that fewer people died on my birthday (during WWII) than my wife's (after the War). Maybe wars don't make that much difference in the overall death tally -- it's always a function of how many people are alive at the time. I suspect that you are younger than my wife because more people died on your birthday than hers.

    Anyway, Happy Birthday!
