I disagree. There is something seriously not right with this mother; she is living her own twisted dream of reality vicariously though her little girl. Someone should intervene although the truth is that the damage has already been done. This quote sums it up:

Ask Sasha how she sees herself and she replies: 'Blonde, pretty, dumb - I don't need brains.' Her mum laughs her head off at this, proud that the child is so like her.
