I have started with one small hybrid tea rose and the Japanese Beetles have moved to these woods--from who know where---and all 100 try each day to feed on the small new blossoms! I have resorted to spraying, but I have not seen a significant reduction as of yet!
My roses fear nothing but the dreaded blackspot which comes on with a vengeance in July and denudes most of my 30 rosebushes despite regular anti fungal spraying. Drives me nuts!
