How many wisteria did you plant? How long ago? Do you happen to have a winter picture? Do you really prune it back in August? Or is yours more free-form? It's beautiful. Did you paint your Buddha? It looks great next to the green of the ferns. (That was my ticket to an A+ in geography. I outlined all my maps with that green and blue!)
I bought 1 mail order plant. It looked like a 4 in long dead twig. It bloomed the first year although it was only about 18 inches tall. We let it do whatever it wants and we don't feed or water it, The Buddha has a pink funghus growing on it but is otherwise the original colour. The garden looked great last week. Extreme heat and wind have wreaked their changes.
We've got the opposite here. Last Sat. when Mr. Nag was doing the a/c I almost turned the furnace on! I haven't watered the tomatoes for two weeks. All work and no sitting in admiration for me this spring! ONE PLANT, now that just blows me away. I see from a more recent post that you have many garden admirers. Well deserved!
