Crown Royal Lamp

I'm loving this but wouldn't the quintessentially Canadian lamp feature a two-four of Labatt's?

  1. Now that's a beauty. File that away for father's day, along with the leg lamp from "A Christmas Story".

  2. Creative recycling at it's best. I was thinking of doing something similar with my used wine bottles but that many lamps would blind me with their light.

Speaking of Canadiana, 2-4 is an Ontario thing. (I feel a Stompin' Tom coming on!)

  4. I guess we didn't call it a 2-4 in Quebec . I must be an advert for assimilation.

Assimilation for the Nation! Ever think of running politically? There's your battlecry. Now I realize why I had weird dreams where all sorts of things were made out of used wine bottles! The best one that I can remember was a clock, but that only takes care of two. Better to use 30 at a time and make your own. You must have lots of places to get a bucket of juice.

  6. I've had dreams about wine bottles in the past - probably because I passed out on a pile of them. And yes we have lots of juice here in wine country.
