I'm sitting here encased in a layer of sweaty grease - is it possible that my body is producing this as some sort of defence mechanism against the heat or is this just something that happens as one gets older? Our old house is uninsulated and we've been advised against central air as it wouldn't cool off the upper level. We have two tiny window air conditioners that cannot begin to cool 2500 square feet.
Hell could not possibly be any hotter. That's a relief as I suspect I'm facing an eternity there.
