“Diwali” is a five day ‘festival of lights’ celebrated by millions every year in the fall, in India, Nepal and elsewhere.
Specific to Nepal, the second day of this celebration is dedicated to dogs. This day is called "Kukur Tihar" and specifically thanks dogs for being our loyal friends.
