A Very Good Boy

First responders in Southern California needed to land an emergency helicopter, but there was a herd of goats standing in the landing area.The herd’s Great Pyrenees went to work. The dog quickly rounded up the goats and moved them away, clearing enough space for the helicopter to safely land.

The goats are part of Laguna Beach’s wildfire-prevention program. They graze on dry brush and other vegetation to create fuel breaks that can help slow the spread of wildfires.
